Shady Operation

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Paid for a vehicle, paid for shipping, vehicle was picked up in less than 2 days. Went to release my deposit and lo and behold another charge is placed on my account. Called to resolve and was told issue would be addressed with a manager and next thing you know the charge was placed through my checking account WITHOUT my authorization!!! When I called back was told it was a "storage fee" and nothing I can about it.

Stealing money

Beware! AutoBidmaster purposely delays shipments in order for you to have to pay late fees. This is how they make more money off people. If you dont pay all of their Late fees, which they caused, you wont get your car or a refund . This business needs to be shut down immediately.

All they do is delay documents or lie and say that they are lost in order to get you to pay extra money and they threaten to not give you your car which you already paid for . I can’t wait for the day this business gets closed.

Do not use ABM

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Won bid for a motorcycle for $2k. Clear title. With fees. $4k. Ok. Bad. Bike is in fair condition. Repair to get roadworthy. $1k. Bad. Wait 3 months for title and find it is salvage brand. Worse. Bike value is cut in half. Lose sale. ABM refuses to process paperwork. Worst. Try and register anyway (another $1k) and find the engine number doesn't match records. CHP wants to impound stolen bike. "No refunds" &;;;; no help from ABM. Nightmare.

MAD AS ***

we brough new batteries to make sure we would have a way to get the motorhome started. and which it did.

They told us that we had to tow it off the property and we ALSO had the right size truck and straps and were told NO, we could not do it that way but had to hire a tow truck company that charges $800 just to hook it up. and THEN to tow it just out of the yard which was only a few hundred feet, another $500. sounds like they work hand in hand. it was even driveable, but still NOPE they would not let us drive it out.

we have bought 2 other motorhomes from them at their other locations and never had a problem. just with the one yard.

they changed their stories over and over again, and being that it was a holiday, they were going to charge us a premium. lucky we were able to find someone, otherwise they were going to charge us DAILY rent or storage fees while we spent a long 3 nights at a hotel waiting for them to reopen.

The public should be aware of the licensing requirements to bid at these auctions. Of course these requirements are either deeply imbedded in the terms of service or missing altogether.

I used my NJ address when I signed up as my DL is still issued in NJ. However I am...

closed on weekend and they don't return texts or calls!! Logged in to my account with AutoBidMaster today and my membership plan was back to basic (the free plan), my $2500 security deposit that is basically just a hold and refundable was gone, they ran my membership fee of $400 through SEVEN times and made me resend a large sum wire for a car purchase and kept both wires!!!

My account says no transactions, no history, it's just wiped out!!

Thank GOD I have bank statements and emails!! I'm out over $10k - have a feeling this is going to be a stressful week ahead, Oh - and to add insult to injury, I got this same email over and over all day:

I have been in business for over 35 years and have NEVER experienced such unprofessionalism as I have with AUTOBIDMASTER!!! I attempted to call your headquarters earlier this week and talked to a person called Rhoni- he is an *** showed no respect or desire to help me when trying to wire you the funds for payment- complete incompetence!!! I will definitely leave a review for all future potential customers to stay away from AUTOBIDMASTER!!!

Informative

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Autobidmaster - Informative

I signed up for AutoBidMaster with open eyes. I saw what the fees were for membership and what it costs in fees to Copart and Autobidmaster depending on the sales price.

I experienced a winning bid, but it was not at or above reserve, so I knew that it would be rejected. If you do your research on the actual value of the vehicle you are looking for, it will help you decide what your maximum bid should be. Most of the vehicles that I saw with Buy It Now prices were not priced for a good deal. For Example, I wanted to bid on an R350 4matic Mercedes, but due to the condition it was in, it was not worth my time or money to buy.

They may want $6,000.00, but it would only be worth that amount if it was fully operational and ready to sell at a reputable dealership. Win and add the fees and transportation costs and you will lose money. So be careful and do your research first. My first purchase is now in process.

Paid for the vehicle and transportation and now I am waiting for the actual pickup of the vehicle and delivery. Paperwork should be mailed to me via Fedex, but will have to wait and see what they send. Lastly, be prepared for storage fees from Copart. If the transportation company is slow to pickup, you will have to pay storage fees.

They really love money, but if this deal comes through, I will be in the black. Hope this help explain a little about my experience with AutobidMaster.com.

Got Scammed for $700 with no Recourse

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
This review has nothing to do with Copart or the vehicles they sell. Thats a different story altogether. This is about the bidding process through this broker. It is a total ripoff, and they are a bunch of scammers. Automated bidding system is fake and will make you bid against yourself. Their fees are outrageous, and they will bill you to death. There are undisclosed fees for paperwork on top that you won't find out about until after you have paid for vehicle. The worst experience ever and you have very little recourse. They pocketed $700 for bogus fees when I refused to pay for a car I noticed I was bidding against my self on. A car that I did not wing according to their system but became a winner 15 minutes after I stopped bidding. Total B.S. Avoid them like the Plague.

Horribly and not deserving of even one star. I bought a travel trailer through their site from a Copart yard. Pictures looked great with minimal exterior damage. Interior was perfect. The trailer was delivered by a reputable transport company. The exterior damage was hidden from the photos and much more extensive. The interior had been stripped from all valuable contents. Appliances, lights, stereo and propane bottles had been removed. I was unable to receive any help from these crooks. It's purchased as is where is. Too bad for you. Do not trust the photos and don't think that these frauds will assist you.

Expensive SCAM! Stay away! Arm and a leg!

Won a bid through them for $400, they want $900 for their services, plus $261 to deliver the car, won't let me pick it up even though I am close by. If you cancel they want $799 plus $300 credit car charge.Plus if you want to bid you have to put $400 down, and another $200 to bid at live auction.

This is pretty much a scam, they dime you at every turn. Wish I found these reviews first.Ignore the good review it's one of their workers.

I talked to them on the phone and they are just there to scam as many people as they can. I also called coparts and they said I could come pick up the car, but bidmaster claims that you cannot, and have to use their services which cost $$$.
