Autobidmaster - I guess I am no longer a member.
I was a Premium member of Auto Bid Master. I had a accidental bid for a vehicle and won. I knew the fee was $400 to cancel a Copart won auction. I called Auto Bid Master to take care of it, this is what happened.
When I called they said that I had won so I had to pay for the vehicle. I told them that I was going to pay the cancellation fee. She said if you cancel, we will put the car back up for auction. I asked, what if the car sells for less? She said hold on and transferred me to Lana. Lana had all the information but told me it was $400 for Copart and $250 for Auto Bid Master = $650. I told Lana to let me think about it because that was a lot to pay for a accidental bid. She said to ask for her.
So I called back and asked for Lana, they were busy so they put me on hold. 27 minutes later the phone hangs up, so I called back and explained what had happened. They put me on hold again and 18 minutes later it hangs up again. I called back again. This time the lady said she would text Lana to see if she could pickup, then said lets say I was Lana, what do you need?
I told her of the accidental bid and that I chose to pay the $650 fee and that I was not happy with the unexpected extra $250 that I was not aware of and that I would cancel my membership if this is how thing would be. She said you don't need Lana for that. She pulled the $650 from my credit card and canceled my membership. Wow, I guess I am no longer a member.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $250.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
